El Parian

It was Christmas Eve, and we drove to Magnolia to go to a different restaurant. That other place was closed, so we drove around to see what was open. El Parian had a parking lot full of cars. We didn't know if it was because it was that good, or because very few places were open. Wow!! It was that good!! We will be back! Food was excellent! Hubby had Enchiladas Mulerider. I had pork street tacos. Guacamole was great, too!

Being from Texas we were a little skeptical about eating Mexican food so far from home. This was a pleasant surprise! It was authentic Mexican food. The service was fantastic and the food was served quickly and hot. The guacamole Mexicano was AMAZING! You can't beat the price for the amount and quality of food either.

This place was way better than we expected. We live in Minden and this place is better than any of our local options. El Parian was quite busy on this Sunday afternoon. This was lunch for us but was closer to supper time. I love good chips & salsa and these were great. The salsa was the real standout and better than the average red salsa at most Mexican restaurants. Several of us ordered Petra's Special which is 3 cheese enchiladas topped with fajita chicken. The plate presentation was excellent and above average for Mexican restaurants. The food was good but I wished I had ordered a different sauce on the enchiladas. I'm not a fan of cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce. My sister said she usually orders them with the sour cream sauce but she forgot. They had a number of sauces to choose from. The only downside was the service suffered because they were so busy but otherwise it was a great experience. I would definitely go back for the chips & salsa and to try more dishes.

El Parian always has good food and great service. The food gets to the table insanely fast and always tastes good. I got the pastor street tacos and they were great! Their spicy habanero salsa is good and the meat had great flavor. I also got the sopapillas and they were great as well. I forgot to take the before picture, but I would recommend anybody try them. Price wise is very reasonable. Only issues I've had is take out has been a bit of hit or miss. That being said, anytime I have dined in, I was very satisfied. Would recommend!

Grabbed a to go order 8/16/2024 after a long day of work at the request of my 11yr old and it was AMAZING! ( As always!!) Ordered in store and they had my food ready in 10 mins and helped me out the door as I had my 20month old grandson with me!!! We ordered shrimp and rice and 2 orders of street tacos queso and of course salsa and chips!!! This place has excellent customer service! Always fast and friendly!!! Food was still warm when I got home 12 mins later!!! LOVE THIS PLACE! Update: 01/28/2025. We still LOVE El P!!
